I have a 2002 325ti and its Inspection II is looming in the next few months (the expensive one). I have always taken it to my local BMW dealer as I want to maintain its full BMW service history. However, the cost is huge.

I was wondering if you can take it to other garages where they are BMW approved and the stamp in the book will say they are BMW approved, but the cost is much more reasonable?

Any help much appreciated.
