After recent heavy rain the rear offside footwell (only) in my 328i has filled up with water - it is awash. There is no obvious sign of where this water comes from and my repair garage is baffled. Anybody had a similar problem who may be able to help? Could it be blocked drainage channels, and if so where ar these located?

Rear drains are either in the trunk lip or rear wheel wells.

Have you had your window regulators replaced? I've read on e46fanatics that sometimes the repair shop neglects to replace the rain shield inside the doors correctly, thus creating a leak.
