THe cup holder on my 525 gave in today. Is it covered under the original factory warranty?

It should be covered if you are still within your bumper-to-bumper warranty.

Ah no. Since you're a lawyer, put hot McDonalds coffee in the Ultimate Cup Holder, take a sharp right turn and spill it on your ankle. Then sue the Ultimate Cup Holder for millions. After you win, you'll think the Cup Holder to be "kinda cool."

The cup holder is covered under the bumper to bumper.
My wife does not like the Ultimate cupholder which now decorates my garage.
