Z4 M Coupe or M Z4 Coupe?

Z4 M Coupe or M Z4 Coupe?

I've seen this both ways - Z4M and MZ4; is there a real preference or real designation here?

I always thought of the car as a Z4 M Coupe, but I'm open to suggestions.

Also, is my new M Coupe (shorthand) a 2006 or 2007 model year? The new M Roadsters are 2006. My insurance agent would like to know.

It's a 2006. The number before the LL in the vin is the year.

E code is E86 versus roadster E85.
Z3 M coupe is M coupe.
Z4 M Coupe is M Coupe.
So Z4 M Coupe.
On the order status it shows up as Model: 0627 M Coupe.
On the aftersales vin it shows as M-Coupe.
Also seen it as Z4 & M Coupes.
For my plate I had to go with MZ.4 since in CT once you go to a number you can't go back to a letter.
Whatever works for you.

How do you do that Ron? You must have some pull in CT to be able to get a custom license plate before you can get the car

MZ.4 was on my '97 318ti.
You have to get it before the car comes out or someone else will.
My future M coupe will have a different plate.

FLY.BMW was on the M coupe I sold.
FLY.BMW is now on the 318ti and the MZ.4 plates are at the DMV on hold.
They will hold them for one year.
Same with any vanity plate if you turn it in. So you can get it back if you change your mind or transfer to someone else before they make it available to everyone.
I had FLI.BMW on my ti prior to the MZ.4. When I added the MZ.4 I transfered the FLI.BMW within the year to a friend.

I prefer the S54 but you never know.
Never thought that I would sell the Z3 M coupe but I did.
If it wasn't for the Z4 M Coupe it would still be in my garage.
