2002 M Roady. OBD-II port works with key on, goes dead after starting engine. Cannot pass inspection. Any ideas? Going to the dealer next week but just seeing if I can get a heads-up. Thanks.

Thanks. | CT and several other near states emission stations will not read S54 Z3's. The station owners and my reader worked fine. CT solution was to do it via dyno after approval (another visit) and supposedly will change the software so if it doesn't work via OBDII will automaticly switch to dyno. Not a fix to me but is to them.

If I try to initialize with the car running no dice. Thanks for your info Ron.

Other than not having my car in the database (no 02 M coupes with the S54 engine) everything emission related was a breeze. The guy had to manually input the car in the database. Hopefully they will have it this year.

Florian | Had that problem too, they kept asking if it was a M3.
