How much under sticker can I expect?

I was interested in a M series Z4. What % can I expect under sticker price? If for instance the price is $56,000, what do you think I can end up paying?

Thanks,
Ken

2-4k over sticker in CA. Maybe 1k over everywhere else. That's how it works if you want the newest toys. Wait 6 mts and you'll be able to get a few hundred off.

It amazes me that California dealers feels as though they can charge customer a markup like that. That tactic is also used out east as well. Seems stupid now that you can look up vehicle prices and locations throughout the states with the net. It seems like nothing to find a car 500-1000 miles away, find out its options, agree on a competitive price and fly in to close the deal.

When the M5 came out, there were all sorts of dealers asking for $10k over sticker out west. Now, one can be had for appreciably under sticker but certainly not invoice. I'd say to be patient and you'll find more of these being allocated during the summer into fall. Bet the price drops to $2-3k under full sticker. If BMW announces intentions to release the V8 the prices will plummet.
