I was interested in a M series Z4. What % can I expect under sticker price? If for instance the price is $56,000, what do you think I can end up paying?
Thanks, Ken

Most likely $56,000.
It might depend on where you are located. I paid sticker for my new M Coupe. I really didn't have any expectations about paying x% off or y% over invoice or anything. I've heard in other areas (basically rumors) that dealers are adding "additional market value" to the new M Roadster and M Coupes so sticker may not be too bad.
On the other hand, if you're a person who buys new BMW's every year or so and you have a reputation/relationship with your dealer you might get 3-5% off. You wont know until you ask.
Good luck,
conorb

Thanks, Ken | It seems the limited allocation of M cars keeps the prices less negotiable than the other models. My dealer has only been allocated 1 MZ4Coupe and 1 Z4Coupe period in the next 4 months !
I know you are talking M roadster - but they too are far less common.
Good Luck Ken !

I don't know if they're actually getting it, but I'm sure they're giving it their best try. edit: Since M Coupe allocations will be more scarce than M Roadster allocations, I would guess their market adjustment will be greater on the coupe. endedit I won't be buying my M Coupe in the SF Bay Area.

Contact one of the board sponsors (or all of them). You might be surprised. It never hurts to ask.
