Z-4 run flat tires
What's the mileage expectation for the Bridgestone Potenza run flat tires that came as original equipment? Has anyone replaced them with standard tires that are much cheaper? I figure with the $1000 I'll save on std tires I can afford to risk replacing the $335 wheels.

~12-25k on the rear
~20-35k on the front
seems to be average
cheaper tires yes
lesser quality/performance tires no
you can save nearly a hundred $ per tire going with non-runflats, and get a equal or better performing tire (ie s0-3, f1, ps2, etc)
i'm not sure how u figure on saving $1k though
even if you buy dirt cheap all season tires you wont save that much
figure $400 in savings max
