 reset radio

I searched and came up with too many ways to reset the radio from code waiting to the input code mode.

Anyone know the correct way. I saw one said to turn the key to on without starting and leave it there for an hour??? Seems like that would drain the battery on anything like mine with daytime running lights.

That is the correct procedure. Shouldn't be a problem for a good battery if you don't have any light on. Do the running lights come on in the accessory position? If so, you may want to connect up a battery charger.
