Saab 04 9-3 Lease up in 1 year, want a BMW

Hi all,

Currently, I am driving a 2004 Saab 9-3. Previously, I owned a 1997 318i with sports package. I had 122k miles on it when i sold it and it still handled and drove better then my Saab which only has 18k miles.

I have a year left on my Saab's lease and I can't wait to get rid of it. We recently got a used 04 X3 for the wife.... It is awesome.

So, i am already thinking ahead. I love Bimmer's. Performance is not matched by other cars and I have driven Mercedes, Volkwagen Corrado, Nissan Maxima.

Saab is a nice car, don't get me wrong. I had a great deal on it with no down payment $0... and I wanted to drive something different. Anyway, I guess I have to wait a year, or try to get someone to take over the lease....

Happy Holidays.....

You could try to unload the Saab on swapalease.com. If your monthly payment is attractive relative to others, or if you are willing to give the buyer a few $$ to take it over, you can do OK. In the end that sort of thing will cost you more than just running out the lease, but if you're really motivated it's worth a shot.

I used swapalease.com to get rid of my X3 lease and it worked well (one day). It all depends on your current lease terms, remaining miles, etc. Definitely worth a try, especially if it's a good lease, but first check with your present leasing company to make sure they allow assumptions and what the costs are. Very easy with BMWFS...$450 transfer fee and it takes about a month.
