 e46 rims to e39 rims

Would 235/35/19 rims from an e46, can they be put on a 2001 e39 530i?
Would the offset and fitment be okay?

so now i found out it has a different hub bore and different offset?

How bad is that?

Well, it depends. Do you have access to a LARGE lathe? Because that is what you will need to change the center bore.

As for the offset, depending on the which way the difference is, you can use spacers.

In fact, if the offset is different enough, you could have someone make you custom spacers that also adapt the center bores.
