The calls supsequent to service @ the dealer is always the most annoying part of the ordeal.
The survey is essentially worthless so I don't want to waste my time doing it. Additionally they call my mom @ home during the morning and afternoon when she is almost always sleeping (shes a nurse), and wake her up.
No matter what we do they just keep on calling. If you don't answer, they just call back, time after time. You would think after no answer, hangups, and never a returned call them would take a hint, but no.
Today I told them again to stop calling. After this she still asked if she could ask the questions! I gave her an answer, after she said it was being recorded, of servce itself = 5, service + phone calls = 1. They can interpret that however they want.
Any other recourse? One bmw or another is frequently in for something it seems, which = more calls. Most of the time I don't even have a clue to which service appt. they are refering.

Did you get an email with the link to the survey? If not I would recommend giving them your email address (if you are concerned with spam, just get another public address and use it). Doing the survey online takes like 30 seconds to complete and I have done a lot of them. I don't get any calls from BMW.

I hate unwanted phone calls as much as the next guy, however these calls are well worth your time. Believe it or not, the dealer is penalized for anything less than a "5". I'm not sure to what extent, but I know it has something do with how much BMW pays the dealers for warranty work.
Do a search if you're interested.

I agree that it is important to let BMWNA know how your dealership is doing. But if you really don't want those calls, the last time they called me, they asked me if I wanted to continue getting these survey calls or emails. You can just ask for their supervisor and tell them how you feel the next time they call!

Whatever response you give does make it back to your service advisor. MIne was upset that I have him a 4 because the part was not in when I brought my car in although I had been told otherwise. The year before he had won a trip to Germany because he had perfect 5's all year long.
