power windows
my auto up feature of the driver side window stopped working today....power window itself is fine...just no auto up!
I disconnected the battery earlier to put in a new head unit...everything else works fine in the car after I reconnect the battery except the auto up feature...do I need to reset the window module and window height? and how can I do that?
any idea how I can fix this?

James | This worked for me. With window up, push and hold switch down until window is all the way down, then continue to hold the switch for at least 5 seconds. That should reset auto up/down pinch protection.
If that doesn't work, try the reverse method where the window is down and holding the switch in the up position for at least five seconds after the window closed.

Try this method.
disconnect battery for 20 minutes with the windows up completely.
Then reconnect battery.
Put the ignition key on the "run" position.
Then let the window down completely, holding the switch "down" for over 10 seconds.
Then roll the window up, holding the switch again for over 10 secons (up position).
The auto up function should reset...

Auto Up feature has never worked for me, is this feature optional?, I tried the battery disconect, but still it did not work.
