Does anyone have the 80 enclosure? I'd like to hear an unbiased review of it... I'm planning on getting one or the other, and prefere the most effective one. I'm just curious how the 80 sounds since you'd be firing straight up into the streaming wind w/ the top down.

what part of town are you in? you can listen to my "in progress" homebrew replacement that is upward firing (rf punch s2, 200w of amp going into it) sometime.

i haven't finished the box with vinyl or anything yet, soooo lazy lately. I am pretty happy with the setup. the 8" actually does a little "rear fill" duty and sounds pretty clean. Can't get as low as a big driver or a hardtop car, but much better than expected.

btw...hows this for coincidence: houston, mz3, and a fj-80 lx450!?

ok, that's pretty funny. sounds like we both like the extreme ends of the spectrum. i'm in the memorial area, about 2 blocks west of the Kincaid school. what part of town are you in? i'd love to hear a top-fire solution in person.
