Sorry to be O/T here but wanted to let you guys know, in case anyone wants to find that perfect Christmas gift ...

Was my grandmothers, now my mom's. Dad's gonna sell it and get her a new convertible for Christmas, or at least that is the current plan.

Love it. Always want more power though.  Its in the shop right now. Had an out of town dealer do an emergency repair back in September. Tech apparently didn't tighten the alternator bracket and idler pulley all the way. Snapped the lower bracket and shredded the belt. Fortunately, I heard the ruckus and was able to get it to my local independent to have it fixed.
Still miss the top down thing to some extent although the older I get, the less I can tolerate the extreme heat/cold (or what passes for cold in South Carolina.
If they get the MZ4 with the V8 though ... might be tempted in a couple years.
