saw something called Voltage Stabilizer for the M coupe on ebay the other day
wondering what does it do? and should I buy it for $40

My gut tells me that is crap. I imagine they were useful years ago when alternators may have had more variable output, but I would think the newer cars, bristling with computer chips and sensors, have required the use of much higher quality electrical systems. I could, however, be wrong and subject to correction by those smart dudes on here that have done a lot of tinkering with the electrical systems on these cars. *cough*Ron Stygar*cough*

price sounds like a battery tender. Used for keeping the battery charged while the car is sitting unused.
