 Emergency Brake Lines

Does anyone happen to have pictures of how the brake lines for the emergency brake are supposed to be mounted on my '02 M Coupe?

I have a feeling the bodyshop that did my work did not mount them properly. There are two holes that they are fed through that are causing them to kink/tear.

Any pictures would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

Alright, I guess nobody has any useful pictures. Would anyone be able to tell me if they are supposed to be fed through the little metal mounts on the control arm?

Do you have any pics of how yours are?

TIS shows them going through two holes above the heat shield.

I am going to have my car on a lift to take care of my leaky differential, so I will take some pictures of it while its up.

Thanks Ron!

No, they are not. The metal guides are for ABS and pad wear sensor wires.

There are 2 plastic guides per handbrake cable. The last one in the path is on the swaybar endlink mount on the trailing arm. There's another circled in the attachment.

Thanks for the picture. The 2 plastic guides you have circled are being used.. I don't remember seeing the one on the swaybar endlink.

So, if my e-brake lines are being fed through the metal guides, where the hell are the ABS and pad wear sensors?

I hate dealing with this kind of crap, haha.
