How should I ensure that my battery lasts through the winter. My BMW Z3 (2.8L) is stored in my garage. Does anyone have advice on the intervals I should start and let it run for during storage? And is flat spotting on the wheels really an issue and how might I prevent this. |

get a tricke charger from leatherz.com for the battery and over inflate the tires

I use Battery Tender Juniors on my M coupe and on my motorcycle. They work great, they are small, and inexpensive. I'm not sure Andy is carrying them any more on the LeatherZ site though... Deltran now wants huge quantity orders that we can't afford.

FWIW, I got a great price on a Battery Tender Plus from Chaparall Motorsports. Works great, got 1 for the car and 1 for our house generator.

We don't normally have snow on the ground all season here, so I can usually get it out once every few weeks or so (and refill the gas tank each time I do that).
