I am going to order new wheels from tire rack in the near future. Have not picked out tires yet. Anybody know anything about BF Goodrich g-force T/A KDW2 tires ? | | Reply » Tire advice | Quote: I am going to order new wheels from tire rack in the near future. Have not picked out tires yet. What wheels are you looking at?

Since you haven't decided on tires yet, I might make a suggestion. The Fuzion Zri's, they're a great tire for the price and they're made by Bridgestone. I run a 245/40/17 in the front and 255/40/17 in the rear, all on 17x8 wheels. The 255's are about a 1/2" narrower than the AVS es100 yoko's that were a 235/40/17, I know it doesn't make sense.
If you follow this link and read about half way down, you'll see some more comments Gary (tire rack) and I made on the tires. If you're into spirited driving, why burn up a set of S0-2's or another high dollar tire when you can get these around 110.00 a pop? They stick great and I think you'll like them.

| | Reply » Tire advice | as far as the bridgestones....i know their treadlife lasts a pretty good amount of time i've had many friends that have put them on their Bmw's from z4's to m3's and they loved the handliing on them as well as the potenza's...which i was about to get but quickly changed my mind to the michelin pilot sports...which definitely paid off and those tires are nothing but phenomenal in both wet and dry and handling is just insane but they are a little pricy.

The grip is a lot better than the Kumho's I had before. According to tests, they have the best grip in the dry and that's the only thing I care about (Socal=no rain). On wet surface they are not that good. They are also a price bargain compared to the Goodyear eagle F-1. The Goodyear's were about 50% more expensive. The life expectancy is about 30k miles (at least, that's what they claim
