Does anyone know anything about the 2002 S54 MCs for sale via Texastoys, or anything about the dealer?

Jason,
Take a look here. This is the individual I mentioned to you that took a look at both of those.........

Just an FYI - there is a Imola Red 2000 M Coupe with 13K miles in the South Bay in Mt. View at Allison BMW. Lowest mileage 2000 I have seen at a dealer in a while. It is currently on the main BMW website under the Preowned Inventory...

Thanks for the link and for the heads-up on the MC in Mountain View! Sadly it was just sold! I called them. They had it for only a few days.
The info I'm learning about the S54 2002 MC in Texas is making me think twice... Why has it not sold since October? I didn't realize it was put on ebay many times. Hmmm. The dealer also explained that it was supposedly pristine mint. Well, the description above sounds like there are a few spots that are not pristine. I understand if that a used car will have some minor issues, but when a dealer doesn't explain them to me it gives me reason to doubt everything else they say.

My guess as to why the 2002 Silver one hasn't sold is because it's manufactured date is 12/01 which falls right in line with the period for the rod bearing failure. That's what I think.
My E46 M3 had the same build date and its engine was replaced at 4k miles.

you really think that's why it hasn't sold? i wonder if it might not be something else..

No eval
I was just guessing since no one else has spoken up.
I do want to mention I don't think this is the same silver that they had earlier. The earlier one had 13,XXX miles and this one has 16,XXX. Unless they kept driving it all of these months...
