mirror indicator lamp
hey guys im new here, i just bought a 2003 z4 about a week ago and the indicator lamp for the alarm on the mirror doesnt flash when i arm the alarm and lock the doors. Is there something simple i am missing or am is there a bigger problem?

Although you have the red clown nose, your car may not have been equipped with an alarm...most likely it wasn't as they are not standard on the z's. BTW, even if yo don't have the alarm, you can have the dealer set the nose to blink when the car is locked. Of course, he'll probably charge you.
