Hardwiring XM Radio in 1998 Z3...help!

Just wondering if anyone has hardwired an XM Radio (Tao XM2GO specifically) with a 5V hardwire adapter. I found Littelfuse makes a fuse adapter to tap into the box, but any tips would be greatly appreciated. Last thing I want to do is ruin my "baby". Thanks for your help in advance... P.S. we just laid the boot on for a quick picture....we forgot to tuck it in. Will put spring pictures on when out of hibernation.
