 Offset front control arm bushings?

Does anyone else have these in thier M Coupe or M Roadster? I do, I ordered them assuming that the stock bushings were offset. I've had them in the car for a few months but I'm not sure I like them. They have moved the front tires forward quite a bit in the wheel well. I'm worried about tire clearance as I'd like to lower the car a bit more. Has anyone else noticed the effect? Does anyone make solid urethane centered front bushings for this suspension?

I have the offset PowerFlex urethane front control arm bushings installed on my Mcoupe and like the feel of the increased castor. Fender liner clearance is not an issue in that my Mcoupe is not significantly lowered with Dinan springs. PowerFlex does make a centered urethane bushing. James Clay at BimmerWorld sells both versions of the PowerFlex solid bushing.

Bob, I think the Treehouse Racing eyeball arms might be more appropriate for you. Yes, they're offset, but they won't split on you like the Powerflex bushings tend to do after a while.

I've been thinking about doing the CAD for some of my own eyeball arms similar to the Treehouse, but not offset. That's assuming I can get Randy to help. I talked to Treehouse about getting some with stock geometry, but at the time they weren't willing to make them. I may still try the offset ones and just back off on the caster on the TC Kline camber plates.

How long has it been since you talked to the guys at Treehouse about making thier eyeball arms with no offset? That's something I'd pickup in a heartbeat.

I think it's been about 8 months since I talked to them. I'll buy if they'll make them. Maybe they'll make some if we can get a group buy together.

They also told me that the bushing is replaceable if ever needed.
