What do you think? Is it necessary to have your valve adjusted at Inspection I ? I called a
BMW independent shop and was told that I should only do it at 60K.

I still am not there!But plan on doing valves cam upgrade THIS WINTER when I have the inspection done by Turner Motors,I just do not have the time to buy the shim kit from jay.

I was at the stealer last week they said it should be adjusted on Inspection I. My S54 M was adjusted already at 24k miles. It also might depend if the car needs adjustment or not...

I think that it is good idea to check at inspection I and then go from there assuming you use feeler gauges to know what they actually are. The BMW gauges won't do that.
