Strange Errors
While driving my AST/DSC EML and Server engine lights come on in quick succession, following this my engine runs very rough on acceleration. Shutting off the engine and re-starting cures the AST/DSC and EML lights and engine again runs smooth again, 20 miles or so later the service engine light goes out. This is a 2000 2.3 Z3 with automatic trans. It has 53000 miles on it. Any ideas??

i have the triangle light on and ABS...no service though, my ABS sensors are gone in 3 wheels and some Bu!!sh!t Stability control unit that controls the throttle...forgot the name of it. Runs fine and everything but in the begining my triangle light was going on and off...i would be driving it would turn on, then restart the car and itwould be fine, run over a bump and here it was again. Anyways good luck with your problem, the only real solution out there is to get your codes read...only then will knwo for sure. Dont start changing parts only from the advice you get on the boards.
