I see the MSRP without VAT tax converts to ~ $59,422 US
and rated output is 343 PS (HP?)

"brake lights in two stages, dependent on braking force" ...sounds like a recent thread discussion.
Convertible top rear window is glass
"M specific chassis with a joint shock absorbing axle in front and central steering wheel axle in the back "
...a few highlights courtesy of Google translator.....

60,000 Was a little higher than I expected. Wonder what coupe prices will be?

I came up close to that number too.
Was wondering what the E46-M3 sells for in Germany and if it compared to the US number.

I don't think they'll have much success selling very many of these cars at that price. If the last ones were in the low to mid 40's, 60K is too much of an increase. Let's face it, with the huge incentive dollars on the existing car, and it still not selling, the M versions shouldn't be anything much past $50K or it too will not be a resounding success.

My 2 cents.

autoweek said it (roadster) will be priced between the M3 coupe and convertible. that would put it @ $53ish. The coupe will be more.
