Has anybody installed and HMS or Sparco harness bar in their coupe? Can you get a harness that does not have to "replace" the OEM seatbelts. I would be inclined to add the bar if the harness is readily removable for street use.

I've got one similar to the Sparco. I've also got Schroth Rallye 4pt harnesses that wrap around the bar and continue forward through the seat grommets. When the 4pts are not in use they are unwrapped and stuffed behind the seats.
The original OEM belts are still installed and are used on a daily basis.
Everything works the way it is supposed to. The only comment is that the Schroth's use a folded breakaway stitch to approximate the anti submarining qualities of a 3 pt OEM belt. This stitching makes tightening the harnesses a bit of a struggle involving the position of the seat and the angle of the back. Once set they do their job but getting there is not straight forward. And if you need the seat all the way back they may not work.
There are other harnesses out there.

How is the lap belt attached to the floor? Is it a bear to install?

Lap belts attach to the oem mounting points. Otherthan having to take the seats out, installation is pretty straight forward. Had to get a torx bit to get the out board lap belt off.
The harness bar attaches to the "b" pillar belt attachment point and below the outer rear bolt of the seat. Installation is also straight foward, but the lack of working room and close fitting tolerances made it interesting.
