 Car Covers

I KNOW this has been discussed many times before, so apparantly I suck at using the search feature...

If someone could link me to past discussions about car covers, I would appreciate it. I am turning my Coupe into a Weekend-only driver, so I want to know what covers will work the best.

Thanks

Not sure about that one but are you planning to wash your car every time before you put the cover on?

I thought about covers before but apparentely they scratch your car if you don't wash it every time you put it on. Maybe waxing on a regular basis is a better idea?

Hmm, that was a concern of mine, too. If I only drive it on the weekends, washing it once a week probably wouldn't put me out too much. Drive it Saturday and Sunday, wash it and cover it on Monday? You know how small our cars are, they don't take a whole lot of time to wash, haha.

Invest your money in good wax/polish instead.

Sounds good. So there aren't really any benefits to a cover for a car that is gonna be parked outdoors for a few months?

Actually the best thing would be to wax it and set up one of those 'tents', so you can park your car under it to avoid sun damage! How about that ?
