rim compatability

anyone know if rims from a z3 will fit an e36 3 series?

I think the stock wheels of a Z3 2.8 should fit an E36 if they are 16 or 17 inch wheels. If fitting the stock Z3 2. wheels onto an E36 M3, those stock wheels should be at least 17" wheels to clear the calipers on the M3 (I think that's right).

I may be wrong, but I believe the offset on the Z3 2.8 wheels are 41mm

Someone will probably correct me.
