Ok, how do you clean and polish headlights? I cleaned them with flitz first, then zymol plastic polish, then used zymol plastic wax to give them a final coat. What do you think? What do you use/recommend for the Z headlights. No, I cant buy new ones like some people...they wont sell the euro ones to me. |

I have some stone guards to install, but I dont want to do that till they are as polished as I can make them.

I just refurb'd my wife's Roady lights, but in a slightly more drastic method. -Wet sanded with 2000 grit to level them off (take down some of the pitting from stones) -Hit them with 3M Perfect-It II Rubbing Compound (for 1300 grit and finer marks) on an orange Sonus DAS pad -Second treatment with 3M Perfect-It SMR on Green Sonus DAS pad -Third treatment with 3M 3M Finish Restorer final polish/cleaner wax.
They look a ton better, and are smooth and clear now. They were starting to get a yellow-ish filmy layer on them, along with the aforementioned pitting, that was making them look like poo. I still wonder if my wife either notices or cares, but that's an entirely different dilema...
