 Mityvac replacement/extra tubing???

Recently bought some extra tubing for my Mityvac 7201 (1/4", 3/8") at HOME DEPOT... it says Polyurethane tubing and it looks and feels the same as the original ones that the Mityvac came with. Its supposed to be for refrigerators, etc.

My question is: Will this work with the original Mityvac? I don't know if this is the same material and if the replacement will melt or not. Anyone know what the original tubing material that this is made out of or any place to find a cheap replacement that has the same temperature requirements (I think it can handle up to 170 deg. F)? TIA.

I use some of that stuff, I even use vinyl tubing to snake under the Jeep to drain the diffs. And a couple of pieces of gray tubing from a home type store to get down the auto tranny dipstick hole on the Jeep. They all work. Of course, you might want to not use it with the thing biltering hot, but just warmed up is fine.

Cool, that's all i needed to know...
I bought about 25' of 1/4" polyurethane tubing for $1.99!! compared to what mityvac sells for about $20. Just a heads up to those draining different types of fluid too!
