Don't know if this has ever been mentioned, but does anyone know of a mounting bar that has been fabricated to work with the rear cargo net partition?
I know the rear tonneau cover is mounted to the trunk by four upright fixed threaded bolts and secured by four hex nuts. It looks a bar could be fabricated to go above the tonneau cover before securing the hex nuts and fabricating a bar that does not interfere with the operation of the partition net.
Not really looking to add a 5 point harness or anything, but it would be nice to have a bar for camera mounting without losing the ability to use the rear partition net.

Sparco makes a harness bar specifically for the MC. They don't sell it over the web, but a local shop will sell it for $429. Could perhaps use their attachment points with a less robust bar for mounting the camera.

I was going to remove the privacy roll thing and put an aluminum bar accross that location. Mount a camera to that and you are good to go. Might need to tie the camera to the rear center load strap loop in the cargo area to keep it from bobbing up and down though.

Are you fabricating this bar yourself? I was thinking you could stack the bar on top of the tonneau where it is secured and bolt it down. The threads look long enough and you might still have enough thread to secure it all down with the hex nuts.
Take pics when you're done. Would be interesting to see.
