 New Member with a problem

Hi all, hope you can help a newby......

I've got a 2001 Z3 Roadster that won't start. Worked fine yesterday, but this morning It wouldn't start.

All the dash lights come on, headlights work, radio works, but when I turn the key to "start", I get nothing. Almost like the anti-theft is activated or the starter solenoid wire fell off the starter. Lights don't even dim. Doesn't work with either key.

Any hints or ideas?
Thanks.

clutch pedal has in interlock switch. If clutch is depressed and it won't start, its possible the switch has moved enough so its not working.

Thanks, I'll take a look at that.

First dumb question.... Where's it at. Don't want to dissassemble everything under the dash if I should be looking under the hood or something.

Geez it's tight under there. Worse than my Corvette.

yea its a pain. gotta pull the cover under the dash. You may be able to get to the switches by just removing the black plastic panel around the pedals.

If Not thedash panel and the stupid metal knee protector gotta come out. you will need a extension and I think a 10mm socket to get the metal panel down
