Upgrading Z3 3.0 Front brakes to M Coupe Brakes??
I'm heading out today to get a set of front M Coupe brakes from a guy who upgraded to Brembos. I searched but I have been unable to find a definite answer as to what is necessary to put these onto the Z3 3.0.
My wife has a Z3 3.0 and will be needing brakes before too long, and I'd like to be able to get these on her car, but I'm not sure if I'm going to need to upgrade the spindle, wheel bearings, etc, just to get these on there, not sure I want to do all that work either :-) Anyone got any answers? It doesn't have to be an OEM install, I don't care if I have to bend back the current backing plates so that they don't rub, they're just dust shields and she won't be tracking the car.

So I have the front calipers, carriers, lines, and pads.
Anyone know if this bolts up before I take everything apart and try it? I don't want to buy rotors until I know its going to work....

You'll need at least 17" wheels to clear the calipers, if I remember correctly.

Pads and rotors will both be more expensive to replace with the M brakes - fo no gain. You'll also be limited to 17" wheels - 17" tires are more expensive then 16" tires as well.
