OK, had my roadster for 2 months now, and was taking it up north to drive around the twisties, and noticed on a fairly open stretch of road where I would guess there was a cross wind (although nothing extreme) that when I got over 80 mph with the top up, this howling noise started up that was so loud you almost had to yell in the car to talk to the person next to you. Slow down under 80, it would go away. Keep accelerating, it just got louder (at least up to 115). It sounded like it was coming from where the top meets the windshield, but I ram my fingers along the edge trying to feel airflow and nothing.
Weird thing is I can drive in town on the freeways and have been up around 85 and no noise at all. Is this normal for these things? Is there something I should be checking out? The top clamps down very solidly, so I don't think the adjustment of the clamps is loose or anything.
Comments and suggestions are appreciated.

I get some odd howls coming (I think) through the vents when there is a strong side wind. It's an intermittent problem (not steady even when conditions are "right") , so I've just assumed it was just increased volume coming in thru the gills so I've never given it much attention.

Check earlier threads from yesterday. Only happened to me once and scared the living be-jesus out of me. I can only describe it as a howling banshee noise No..the moon wasn't full and neither was I.
