 Sound in my Z3

hello guys, im writing from spain.

let's see if you can help me:
how can i enhance the sound of my Z3? ive got pretty poor speakers but a good mp3-radio, and i wanted to put some 6x9 inch speakers behind the seats and (why not) change the standar speakers of the front.
How can i do that? ive heard of someone that had these speakers behind the seats in a 2,8.
My car is a 2.2i roadster sport edition (same as your 2.3 i think)

Thanks!

I replaced my HU with an Alpine 9855. For speakers,
I put 5.25" MB Quart Coaxes behind the seats with
MB Quart DSD 213 5.25" Components with the woofer in the kicks
and the tweeter in the factory door locations.

Running them off the HU w/o adding an amp and am amazed
by the sound quality. Great bass even with the top down.

Got the speakers for a great deal on eBay and probably spent
more on the install than I did on the speakers.

Gigtime, Were the MB Quart co-axes direct replacements behind the seat? And how difficult was it to get the components in the kickpanels? Any protrusion? Did you have to cut the plastic kick panel and top-mount the speakers? Since this is running off the Alpine's amp, I am curious. I've been thinking of upgrading, but every thought has been to add an amp in the trunk, and I really don't want to give up that precious space.
