What is a good adhesive remover?

Want to remove rear Z3 emblem to install new one. Wondering what I can use to remove old adhesive, that won't damage clear coat?

my method is using floss or a long razor to do the initial remove, then adhesive w/ wd40. after a few min, i take a new razor, and slowly scrape it off, like you're shaving the car. Liberally use wd40 to keep breaking down the adhesive & keep a film of lube between the blade & the car.

lots of guys also use carb/choke cleaner & buff it off. i prefer the razor because there's a lot less rubbing of paint.

'Goo Gone' can also used to remove the residual adhesive.

3M adhesive remover is made for the job. I've used it many times on the roadster.
