This Saturday my karting club is hosting a 6 hour enduro.

I think it would be fun if 6 Z3 entrants made a team.
Everything is supplied. All you do is show up. I will give the team a 15 minute overview of the track so you can get up to speed quickly.
These are school karts used to teach karting technigue. They are automatic with low hp motors capable of 50 mph. So you don't need to be accomplished shifter kart racer to enjoy, yet they exceed over 1 g in corning and are a blast to drive. Best of all they have school bars so you can't damage them easily and affords some contact.
Anyone 2 hrs local to Middletwon NY should consider it.
Use this post for questions and even verbaly committing to your fellow Z3 bretheren who want to go.
3 minimum ( 2 hours driving in a kart is alot) and 6 maximum.

I wish I could, but we are installed 3 suspensions this w3ekend, including corner weighing and alignment.

The weather has a small chance of being sketchy..........to make an effort like driving up from Maryland you need to atleast get the weather.
If it don't work out this season, we can all get together to rent the track in the spring and do a BMW club day. There are 20 school karts and I can arrange everthing if there is interest.
If we have enough people and rent the track then we can do a series of races..pea pick for grid...average results for grand finale etc.....or just do laps. I can have a few Grnd National Karting champs spend time teaching some karting technigue to the group etc.
Tons of fun.
Everyone should keep it in mind. Let me know if there is some broader interest. If not enough I could open this to our M3 and M5 bretheren

What kind of time and financial commitments are involved?
Since you will be in the area, there is a BMWCCA auto x at PNC on sunday....hoping to stop by on the way to mother's

Also we can work this out for Ocala for a Florida trip int he winter. Or Vegas. Both places will work deals for groups.
