Hi

Well after eventually figuring out what the rattle was in my Yreg 2001 Z3 3.0 (the exhaust gasket manifold) Ive now got another problem...

Its difficult to pin down but the car drives rougher now than before, noticed it about a week ago, but it seems to have got worse.

Symptoms are...

1...Rougher ride, kind of feels like an unbalanced wheel - occasional shaking of steering wheel, bumpy ride, almost like lack of suspension in front end. Just feels wrong and rough. No smoothness moving through the gears anymore.

2...Lots of vibration around the pedal area, feels like something is loose underneath the pedals, like a clutch/transmission problem.

3...oh and Ive still got this 'clunk' coming from the underside rear-ish area when changing gears. Mentioned this to BMW last time and they told me it was normal. I get it when pushing the clutch down too quick. It doesnt feel smooth, and feels like its getting worse and doing it more when Im slow in a high gear.

I will have to book it in 'again', but any ideas?
