I have a 2000 with only 37K but its out of warranty already.
Lately my transmission has gotten worse. 3rd to 2nd downshifts often don't want to in, and now 1st to 2nd shifts clunk really hard sometimes. 1st has also gotten harder to engage from a stop.
Im thinking this might be the shift pin issue, anyone got some tips on trying to convince the dealer to fix it anyways (for free)? Who should I talk to? The service manager?
