Looking for best Toyo T1-R prices

I have finally decided which tire I'm going to go with, now I just have to find out where I'm going to buy them from. I'm going with 235/45-17 and 265/40-17, and here are my options so far:

1) Local place--Wesco Tire--in North Hills, CA. Installed, out the door, they'd be $733.

2) tiredealsforless.com - The 235's are $124.05 each and the 265's are $135.82 each. With $90 (ouch) shipping, the tires would come to $609.74. Mounting, balancing and disposal by Stokes Tire is $107, for a total of $716.74.

I've heard great things about Stokes, so I'm tempted by option #2, especially since it's cheaper. If anybody knows of a place that has prices less than tiredealsforless.com, please let me know.

Thanks,

John

For $16.26 I`d be tempted to support a local merchant and maybe generate a little goodwill in case of any service or warranty issues. my .02

What wheel widths are you running? All 38mm offset? Any clearance issues? Fenders "rolled"? Tramlining? T.I.A.

There's a guy in the area with 235/265 S-03's on stock M Coupe Roadstars and an aftermarket suspension. I also know of several other people on 235/265 tires, and nobody has their fenders rolled and I'm not aware of any (serious) clearance issues. Can't comment on the tramlining.

I got my T1-R's from onlinetire.com in the same sizes that you want. It was under $600 shipped. I love them so far. I autoXed on them with around 50 miles on the tires, and they squirmed a bit when they got hot (2 sets of 7 runs in 90*+ temps), but otherwise have proven to be very grippy and predictable. Great value IMHO. I'm on stock suspension, and 265s only start to fill the space there...
