Well, Gordon (who posts here as aussiegto) and I decided to fix our butt cracks
We have been following Randy's exploits over the past several months and bought two of his kits, one for Gordon's supercharged '98 M Roadster and one for my '00 M Coupe. Over the past three weekends we've been working on first his roadster, then my coupe to install the kits and reinforce the sway bar mounts.
I plan to do a complete write-up, but for now here are some of the highlights.
Gordon's roadster showed several signs of damage, including a tear starting in the diff mounting ear, popped spotwelds, and cracks in the subfloor seams. These were not all obvious without removal of the seam sealer

He also decided to change out his guibo, which as it turned out was a good idea.

My coupe, being the garage queen that she is, showed no sign of damage yet - so call my fix preventive maintenance.
