Why is my ride height not even?

My coupe has looked a bit awkward, and it's because the ride height is a bit askew. The right rear is definitely higher than the rest, and I finally got around to quantifying that difference tonight. From the ground to the top of the wheel opening:

Right Front = 25 11/16"
Right Rear = 26 6/16"
Left Front = 25 14/16"
Left Rear = 25 15/16"

11/16" of an inch difference between the right front and right rear...what up with that? The only modification on my car is Bilstein HD's in the rear, installed about 6-7 months ago. As best as I could measure, the rear tire diameters were within 1/8" of each other. What else might be going on?

You need to start slowing down for clover-leafs... =) Or start cornering harder going right.

Any chance you still have shipping spacers in your coils?

I would say 99.9% "no". I thought that the shipping spacers would only affect your travel, and not necessarily your static ride height...I could be wrong.

Ride height doesn't matter as much as corner weight does. If you have stock type shocks (not adjustable coil-overs) then the difference you see is well within manufacturing tolerance of the chassis and suspension. There are a lot of parts and a lot of weld between each shock/spring perch.

Afterall, you can't really look at the left rear and right front at the same time. I wouldn't let it bother you.

Although, I'd take a carefull look at your subframes and diff mount. There might be something wrong there.

That's just another reason you want adjustable ride height.
