 Daytime running lights

Noob question, but do all Z3's have daytime running lights? Mine is an 02 3.0, and I don't seem to have them, although the icons below the light switch in the car are lit up during the daytime. Is that normal?

US models don't. Canadians do. Can buy a DRL module (just swaps out your current one) from LeatherZ.com

The icon should be lit up when car is running. That is normal. DRLs are not normal in the US as others have said.

Um, just turn on your headlights......

DRLs do it automatically, and run the high beams at low voltage so you get very long life out of them.

But yes, turning on your lights does work.
