Are Merc people a totally different crowd?

Hmm, I posted a thread on the Mercedes forum on how tho change transmission oil for my other car and they think I'm from another planet considering this?! I also brought up the point that there is no 'lifetime' fluid and that was the response:

No lifetime fluid?
Darn. Sounds, that adding only some transmission fluid to my 33 years old motorhome might be not good enough.

Guess not everybody has the same views

What do they even talk about on their board? How clean the detailer made their car and how much they love their automatic transmission?

From what I have observed, MB owners are a very different breed.

Its all relative. My rock crawler is about 90% handbuilt. The forums which I browse regarding it are nearly entirely about fabrication. This forum is pleasantly simple in comparision. 99% of the stuff for the Z is bolt on.

LOL. My cousin has a CLK55. I laugh at the whole idea. He couldnt get the air in his tires checked without going to the dealership. I just think its funny to be honest.
