 E Bay M Coupe, 33k, No Moonroof

There's a real nice looking, reasonably low-mielage s54 coupe on ebay right now.

The price is pretty low (at least I think) and he claims no accidents.

Is this anyone here who is selling this? I'd think he could get more than 33k, but I could be wrong.

I knew the original owner and I installed all of the parts myself. Nice guy. He bought the car from Jon Shafer. All of the audio work was done by Rob Paris in Beverly Hills. Quality.

Nice pedigree.

Does the lack of a moon roof provide more headroom than one with?

No, you lose a little bit of headroom. Not much though.

That coupe looks well sorted and well cared for. Nice to see the disclosures on the little defects. Only need to see complete maintenance records and it would be perfect.

OT just a tad:
Mine has no moon roof and I'm 6'3". I did the seat tilt mod with ~1/2" spacers from McMaster-Carr and removed the foam from under the carpet on the bulkhead. (The ~1" spacers where too much and I lost head room) Gives about another 2" of seat travel and a bit more seat back rake. End result is about another 1-2" of head room. I'm still looking for a bit more because a helmet is a tight fit and if my hair isn't groomed down it'll brush. All in all, no complaints though.

I'll take not having a moon roof becuase I don't like the sun beating on my head as well as the extra heat added from the moonroof. Might be a marginal improvement in stiffness with no moon (though that is speculation). Also one less thing to break.
