 Favorite Polishing Protocols for Z3's??

All,

I'm sure there are old posts on thisbut I'm looking for current favorites from you.

I have a Sterling Pearl Gray 2001 Z3 and am experimenting with wax / polish / sealant combos...

So far this is my favorite ( first time use for some of these products)....

all protocols assume clean paint ( clayed, cleaned).....

5 star shine applied
Maguiaers NXT sealant
Mothers Gold Pure Carnuba Wax.

Slick as ice...towels set on the hood slide off immediately....Stunning gloss....waiting for tomorrow to see in sun ( I completed this evening)...looks great under flourecents and parking lot.......Hoping for great color depth....

What are your favorites and outcomes???

Thanks

Mark

i have tried zaino, mothers, meguiars, p21s, but my choice is zymol.
in particular the z3 wax formulated especially for the z3. i have a steel grey 2.8, 1999.
and all of my friends ask how i get such a deep, gloss. everyone has their opinion, but in mine, zymol gets the nod.

Only used one product so far. Wash and dry first, then used NXT Meguiars Tech Wax. Pic attached. It's a '99 Jet Black 2.8...

how long does the gloss last with the Zymol? I've used P21S over Menzerna Final Polish and was very impressed with the deep wet shine, but wax required frequent reapplication in the Texas heat. Switched to Menzerna FMJ, a synthetic sealant that's very durable and the shine is very very good, but can't seem reach the depth of the carnauba waxes. here's a couple of cosmo black coupe pics with P21S carnauba over Final Polish.

I use Menzerna as a polish, 3m Imperial Hand Glaze and P21S for wax. I wax once every couple of months so longevity is not much of a problem for the wax. I used to be a die-hard Zymol Carbon user, but the difficulty of removal vs. P21S made me switch.

it's kind of hard for me to say how long the gloss would last in a real world situation. my car is a garage queen, i have never driven it in the rain, and it rarely gets driven to work, etc. i throw a coat on it about every month or two, whether it needs it or not, but to that, it does not build up either.
