 New Z3 owner with questions

Just purchased a CPO 2002 Z3 yesterday. Car is Jet Black with a tan interior, black top, automatic, 3.0, and I believe it has the sport package. It does have the M wheel in it and the onboard computer. Car has 17,600 miles on it, and not a ding, chip or scratch. It has the split y staggered wheels as well. Now for the questions. What is the best way to maintain the plastic window in the top? I've had the top down a couple times, and there are now a couple lines where it folds. Will those just come out if I use the BMW cleaner stuff for it? Also, it has a Harman Kardon speaker between the seats where I think some of them have cubby's. Does that mean it has an upgraded stereo (it has the business CD in it)? The car has the turned aluminum panels on the center console. I would really like to replace them with either carbon fiber or wood. Any suggestions on that? Thanks for any input you folks can provide. I've already learned a lot from this site about the car. Time to go drive it a bit.

Congrats on the car

I found plexxus to be the best/easiest cleaner to use on the plastic window.

You could probably find the console panels at a scrap yard.

I prefer the Meguiar's products myself for rear window care, and if you use ZSolution's rear window protector, it will help to prevent a line across the rear window or scratches.

I have a wood set for sale from my 2001 Roadster. Excellent condition. Missing one of the chrome rings, .. so you'd need that.

Email me if you're interested. SpinAround@ATT.Net.
