Good luck finding that diff., I gave up and bought a used E28 3.46 LSD as an upgrade from my 3.07. The difference is huge. It pulls great off the line and since my car breathes pretty well (exhuast, CAI) I can wring out every gear. The problem is when I'm cruising on the freeway in 5th gear, 4K rpm comes seems to come up pretty fast for my tastes (86 mph), and leaves me reaching for my non-existant 6th gear. I ran the numbers on the 368s RPM tool before buying so I wasn't suprised about the higher cruising RPMs, but I guess I just overestimated my tolerance. That and the gas mileage factor. On mixed city/highway driving, I could usally get to about 245 miles before the light comes on, now it's about 225 miles.

postscript: I've had the 3.46 for a couple months now, and I'm liking it more and more, but I still wonder if a 3.23 would have been a better choice. BTW, my old 3.07 Torsen is for sale in the classified section.

PSS: You could get a 3.46 Torsen custom built for you by www.diffsonline.com for a lot cheaper than a new one. When I inquired a few months back he quoted me $1,300 exchanged.
