I know its not leather Z, but I dont think they do custom stitching for miatas... So for 44 bucks they will send me a skin that I stitch on. My current steerign wheel is vinyl and it seems to be delaminating on the top of the wheel. Will this be a good fix you think for the standard miata wheel? Or should I just get a whole new steering wheel since the air bag is removed.

So is that a vote for an aftermarket steering wheel or wheel skins?

I've used Wheelskins 3 times...once on a Porsche 951, the other on an E30 and the third on my brother in laws Altima. Only the one on the Altima remains. On the other cars, I soon switched out the wheels for a Momo Monte Carlos and I was much happier. I guess I have finally learned my lesson to save the $50 for a Wheelskin and go straight to the Momo wheel.
